We went as a family up to battlecreek falls for a Sunday picnic under the waterfall. The kids were troopers and we had so much fun being together! Brox man fell asleep and rode on Matts shoulders the whole way up… we finally woke him up when we were at the waterfalls. Breezy fell asleep on the way down! They might be too young to fully enjoy hiking, but I’m pretty sure they enjoyed the ride!
Matt just graduated from the RCA which means he is an official firefighter! We really couldn’t be more proud of him. It was a grilling 4 months for all of us. He was worked hard to the core mentally and physically and pulled it off like a champ all while working 1.5 jobs full time! We didn’t get to see him more then a few hours a week and we missed him like CRAZY, but we are so happy that we can now move forward and Matt can pursue his dream!
We couldn’t let him graduate without a little celebration, so we had all our family and friends come over for a BBQ and party a little!
We went on a field trip with Taelyns kindergarten to Cornbellys'. It was so fun because they had just had all the baby animals! The kids were in heaven!
The fire academy had a family day where we all got to go watch them in action. It was so fun to see Matt all dressed up and run into a burning building to put out the fire! (Don’t get me wrong… if I think too much about it, it completely terrifies me, but I love knowing that he is loving this opportunity!) He is one pretty HOT firefighter if ya ask me!
Grandma and Grandpa always start off the birthday celebration by taking her shopping and spoil the crap out of her!
We had a baking birthday party for her and she was in heaven. They all got to make their own chef hats, decorate their own cakes, play games, and eat cake and ice cream. She ended the night by having her cousins sleepover! It was the perfect day in her eyes!
Matt and his buddies all made a bet that Matt lost big time! They all set health goals and losers had to get shot in their skibbies with a paintball gun from 50ft away. Matt and Kev didn’t hit their goals so they had to pay the price! They both had open wounds and now have scars!
Mr. Brox man might have a little obsession with his baby sister!
Breezy has a serious obsession with food like all my other kids have! She screams when it is gone but is all smiles while eating!
Tae is getting really good at reading and writing and she loves school! I love to see how she sounds words out and spells them all her own! 
Savy taught herself how to ride with no training wheels. She is so insistent on doing everything herself that she wouldn’t let us help her so we thought it might not ever happen… but sure enough, she pulled it off within a few days!
There’s nothing I hate more then getting my kids all geared up to play in the snow when I know it’ll only last for 5 minutes… however, it brings some serious smiles to their faces!
Brox and his buddy Nixon are a little mischievous together now. We waited and waited for the day that they would actually play together and now they are inseparable and sometimes a little naughty!
We love that the weather has started to warm up every now and then and we take full advantage of it and head straight out doors whenever we can!
I got to go on a field trip with Savy and we had so much fun! We went to the fire department, the grocery store, and the library. She loved the one on one and I loved being with her!
Since we have chickens now, we have eggs everywhere! My girls decided to sell lemonade and eggs and make some serious cash!
