Brox

Brox was born on January 18, 2011 at 6:53 pm.  He weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 18.5 in long.  I got induced at 8am and got my epidural at noon.  My epidural worked great until later.  At 6:15 my doctor came in and said, "What the heck, I was sure you'd have this baby by noon.  Let me check something."  He then checked me and said, "I moved things around and you will have this guy within the next half hour."  The nurse had put the catheter in where it was blocking the babies head from coming down... yeah, I could've had him hours before!  When it came time to push, my epidural didn't work at all.  I felt everything this time and it was not fun at all.  Matt swears he will never be in the delivery room again because he didn't like seeing me in that much pain.  Luckily, he was out in about 5 pushes.  He immediately had to be taken because he was having breathing problems.  I got to hold that little man in my arms at 10 that  night and fell madly in love!
