Salt Lake Get-Away

On Friday morning, we all woke up healthy and decided we are so sick of being stuck home, so we booked a night away.  We went up to Salt Lake and stayed in the Hilton hotel.  (the girls had never been to a hotel and were surprised that the room was so small, we were staying all together in one room, and that we didn’t have our own hot tub and pool… spoiled much?!  After a little talking to, they turned it right around and kept saying thank you so much for every little thing!)

There was a duck pond out our back door, so we went and explored there first and then headed right to the pool!

After partying at the pool, we came back and had a picnic in the room, jumped on the beds, watched movies, and finally fell asleep!

The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel, did some more swimming, had a picnic with the ducks, and then headed to down town Salt Lake.

We rode the tracks, did some shopping, went to the planetarium, and got completely exhausted!  We had so much fun spending time with just our little clan!

Meeting an Olympian

One of our high school friends competed in the Olympics.  He won the Bronze medal in bobsledding.  The friends all had a get together when he got home and my girls were star struck.  They asked him if they could get his picture and he was so sweet and let them wear his medal and take a picture with them.  They thought it was pretty cool to meet an Olympian.

Sick, sick, sick…

We had quite the month with being sick.  It started with Breezy getting Hand, Foot, & Mouth.  Then the other 3 all got strep.  Then the Strep was passed along to Matt.  Then Breezy got hit with a little flu bug.  Once they got over that, we were all good for about a week until I got hit with strep.  Then it was on to Brox jumping off the bunk bed and hurting his let.  (Luckily not broke, but still 2 weeks later limping on it.)  Then came round two.  Breezy and Brox both got Sinus infections, pink eye, and strep again.  Then Savy got hit with the flu.  Can it be Summer yet?!

A Day Downtown

To celebrate my moms birthday, we went for a day in Salt Lake with ADULTS ONLY!  It was so much fun!  We ate, shopped, rode tracks, went to a movie, and just loved spending time together!  Pretty sure I lucked out with the best family out there!

Valentines Day

The kids LOVED making and delivering their Valentines. 

We spent Valentines as a family this year.  We pulled out the fancy drinks and partied the night away!

Matt left us quite the loot when we woke up on Valentines.  We are lucky to have such an amazing guy to call our own!

Mr. Independent

This little dude like to do things by himself.  His newest thing is getting his breakfast ready.  Usually I beat him to it, but this particular day, we came down to this mess… at least he had a big ole smile on his face!

Kindergarten Check

Mr. Remi

I started to watch my friends little man a few days a week.  He is Breezys age so I was a little nervous of having 18 month old twins, but it has actually been heaven.  Breezy is OBSESSED with her bestie and follows him everywhere!  They have the cutest relationship and entertain eachother all day long and make it so easy for me!

Brox is 3

This boy is Ninja Turtle EVERYTHING!  So it was only right that we have a TMNT Birthday Party.  They ate pizza, had to go through the sewer to fight the bad guys, then got to eat cake and ice cream and open presents.  The boy was in Heaven! 

Don’t know what we’d do without this crazy kid!  He is mr. personality around us, but when anyone else comes around, he turns super shy and awkward.  He is crazy and all boy.  He is the reason I want more kids yet am scared to death to have any more! We love our crazy man!
